Is it possible to add a stock pusher pump with the Genos relocation kit at the frame and power it by tying into the original pump power pigtail? Thought I might put in one of the $70 dollar lift pumps in to supplement the original pump. Has anyone done it?

Thanks,

Randy Oo.

No, 2 of them would be too much current draw for the PCM. You will need to run one or both of them via a relay powered from another 12v source like the fusebox or battery.

I ran two factory lift pumps for a while. They gave too much pressure and the truck developed a hot start problem after a few months. 13. 5 psi plus/minus 2 psi is what I have read is ideal for the VP-44. One relocated pump and a big line kit that eliminates the banjo fittings will give plenty of dependable pressure.
