With all the posts about engine codes with the powermax..... i'm wondering if anyone has installed this thing without it tripping any codes?..... i've got a line on one of these and am looking for a little reassurance that it won't blow my engine up within a few miles..... i still owe a few years on the truck

no one has installed a powermax cr on a 03/04/04. 5 without tripping any codes?... ... that scares me quite a bit..... most of the time on these boards you only hear about the few that had problems..... i want to hear from someone that the products has worked flawlessly for... .

Installed and went for a drive. No codes, at least not that volunteered themselves. The engine light never came on or anything but I didn't actually do the cycle the key thing. As for the box... Oo. :--)

same here, after the reflash... NO CODES!! i had the light "flicker" once, but not stay on, and no stored codes, crazy, huh??

ps. makes me happy again, because this S. O. engine is soooooo slow

I started on 2x2 but quickly graduated to 5x5. That's the limit of my stock clutch and it's even pushng it a little. Oh, and that SO in everything but slow now!

Had it on for a couple of weeks. Pwr level 9/4 with 100 hp inj. , no codes. Needless to say, only partial throtle. Blackened the night sky! Currently running 7/4, stock inj. , can't keep egt's in check. Power phenomenal! Finally as fast as a D-Max. Too bad our trannies suck $#%*!

Got mine installed. Went quickley to 9 9 and no codes. You definatley need a pusher pump. This thing smokes like a train. I'm really happy with the power, you really have to watch though or you will end up in jail. LOL
