Powermax & Edge EZ Stacked

Well I installed the Powermax last night. The only problem was my first call to TST they told me I did not have to hook up the EZ to the MAP sensor. Well that did not work. The truck started and sounded like it was idling on 3 cyl. I then removed the EZ and all was fine. Then I re-stalled the EZ by chaining the MAP cables together with the Powermax MAP cable first then the EZ. I called Mark today at TST and he told me that is the way to do it. Just to make sure that the Powermax MAP cable is first on the sensor chain. So far so good. No codes!! I am running the EZ on level 3. I am going on a 500mi trip this weekend so I will see the long term results. The power is unbelievable. All I can say is WOW!! I tried it with both on lvl 7 and it slammed me in my seat.

I think you should be posting in the 3rd gen area. Also the 48re won't hold up to that power for very long.

Well 600 miles and no codes. Both boxes work well together but I am going to sell my EDGE EZ. If anyone is interest PM me or email me at -- email address removed -- and it does have 6 levels. The 2 boxes together is just way to much power:--) . I never thought I would say that.



I have been running the EZ on level 3 and PM on both level 4's.

I didn't know there was such a thing as too much power!!The AZ boys want more,more... ... . It's like a drug we just can't kick the habit!! Help,I feel the need for speed!!!!!!

BUT have you had any surge problems? Like it fuels hard and hits 35 lbs boost, and then you lose about 8-10 lbs,and then the truck decelerates, and then kicks in again with fuel and smoke?

I have not noticed it to decelerate at all. The power comes on hard and strong until I let off. I did notice when I put in on 7 & 7 the power came on about 1500rpm and felt like it hit a Nitrous Button.

What boost elbow are you running?

Stock or TST, or EZ elbow??

EZ Elbow. Also I have a question. If you need to send your box back to TST to get an upgrade can you just unplug it? And leave the wiring harness on? Will it just run stock then?
