Smoked a bombed Powerstroke today from the entrance ramp. Saw him blowing smoke from his 5" pipe, so I tromped on it and came around easy, so he let off at about 85. I'm so ashamed of my reckless irresponsibility!

I have a VERY heavy right foot, so everytime I leave a light it's WFO.



I'm stock for now..... but I can see it's about to get very expen$ive to keep buying 4 more rear tires after I start BOMBing. (starting SOON)

i don't normally race on the street, but i did pass a lady in a chevette today. it was just too tempting, and hey, she was tough. she was puttin' out more smoke than i was!! i think she must have had stage III injectors!

I've seen her down here; darn near made me lose it on my Harley. Couldn't see the school bus coming down the wrong way on the divided road!

I'm almost ashamed,, I just think of it as "advertising" for the Dodge/Cummins. Every race won, is one more believer in the Cummins.



When I was stock I could drive all day at WOT, was no big deal, no the same power level I was making stock I make at 1/3 throttle. When I am at WOT now,, HOLD ON.

I kept up with a Mustang Cobra from 30-55MPH, clutch started slipping, and he left me. (that was wednesday)



I can keep up with allmost anything I want now. When I get a new clutch, I'll really be ready to whoop PSD's and D-Max's

Portland Street Scene

There used to be a lot of street racing here in Portland... . that is untill the movie "The Fast and the Furious" came out. Then everyone went into a pannic. While I admit a few people have lost their lives here doing this, accidents usually happen when people get stupid.



Since the police crackdown on Street Racing, PIR has opened it doors on saturday nights $10 and you can run to 10:00 PM. Racing is tons of fun... and the CTD is a real crowd gatherer when the turbo spools up at the line.



After the first time I ran I received a barrage of questions about my truck. My buddy who has been racing for years keeps telling me that my truck is fast enough and this is from a guy that is building a '55 Chevy with a 13. 5:1 big block

MY Tail Gate has a logo "EAT ROAD" My wife refuses to drive with me. (she thinks I an a mance to society) I put on 70 miles per day on my truck, when the traffic is light I race everything I can find my last was a 2000GT He was on my tail hard going through the on ramp of I95 north 5:30 AM ,when the road opened to three lanes he took the 2nd in one big jump. I let him get up to my front bumper before I stomped on it, I saw him look in his rear view mirror three times he never saw me ( I was on his right rear quarter) blind spot until 120mph I let him go. He did not gain and I did not pass. Who was the winner? I call this a victory.

I agree with Shovelhead. The pedal is either up or down. Now the yard driver wants me to bomb the F**d F-850 we have with a Cummins 8. 3.

After all thats the true test isn't it. I live on top of "Backbone Mountain"which is 8-10% for 10 miles. You're ears pop from elevation change from the top to bottom. This is my redneck dyno as a matter fact . Everytime I do a mod. I'll pull this hill to see what kind of gains I've made. I also just love smoking just about anything I encounter on this hill. I had a skid of concrete on the back one day and dusted two local punks in a brand new chubby gasser ,and this was before I did any mods. That little Cummins had a lot of grunt even when it was stock. After a little "bombing"it's just downright nasty. Doug

i don't want to mention names, but i'll use initials. why pay $4-5k more for a GMC with a new v-8 diesel, than for a comparably equipped CTD? spend $2-3k on the CTD BOMBing, blow the doors off ANY maxipad, and pocket the leftover $2k+ for fuel... ..... go figger... .....

I don't find any f**d or c***y guys wanting to race anymore. But a QC 6-speed chased me yesterday and I let him have it in fun. I did think about getting a new one but after the 100 mph mark there was no point. I am happy with mine and don't feel like breaking in a new seat. He pulled up at the light next to me after three miles of being abused and asked wht I had done to it. Told him to start spending some more money.

Mopar-muscle, as soon as I get the cash I'm putting in the new clutch and the powermax 3 compation version. The PM2 I have now does pretty good but you now how it is. Will I ever be satisfied?

I have not ever raced anyone on a interstate, on ramp, off ramp, off road, back road, side road, front road, stop light, go lignt, no light, no speed limit, 20 mph speeed limit, speed limit?? we dont need no stinking speed limit.
