First determine if the fluid that is leaking is engine oil or power steering fluid. It is quite common for the seal between the vacuum pump and power steering pump to leak. It is also fairly inexpensive to replace the seal. Do a search in the archives on vacuum pump seal and you should find plenty of info.
If the power steering pump itself is bad then it will have to be replaced.
Removing and replacing the PS pump is not that difficult. There is one high pressure fitting, two rubber return lines, and four nuts holding it to the vacuum pump.
The picture shows the power steering pump disconnected from the vacuum pump. Be very careful when reassembling so that you don't damage the seal between the vac. and ps pumps.
