Has anybody out there run the PowerTrax no slip (not the locker) for any amount of time? If you have, what has been your experiences so far? Also what kind of power are you putting to it? and have you pounded it or babied it. Thanks in advance

Powertrax No slip is a locker. It replaces the spider gears. Are you thinking of something else?

Powerlock is a limited slip.

My understanding is that there are 2 different products. One is marketed as a locker and the other is a toned down version of a locker, not like a detroit but a locker nonetheless.

I have a lockright in my 79. it is almost identical to the one you are talking about.

I have been running it for over 10 yrs, with more power and larger tires than they recommend. It has even survived cracking two axle tubes like a can of biscuits from the torque.

Still looks new, and still works great.

Not in my CTD. I do have a Powertrax No Slip Locker (automatic locker/lunchbox locker) in the front of my 88 Wrangler. I wheel this thing pretty hard and I'm running good size tires with low gearing (see sig). I regularly brake u-joints either on the axle or on the drive shaft... but after 5 years have had no problems from the locker.

I have been abusing a Powertrax performance locker in my bigblock Dart since '96 and once in a while it will pop out and go pegleg but it has always performed flawlessly at the strip with slicks. They told me when I bought it that it wouldn't take that abuse but I guess I proved them wrong Dart runs 11. 90s.
