Anyone here running Powertrax differential lockers? Any comments on them?

Got the locker ordered

Some problems have been reported, but the conditions leading to failure are unknown. My LockRight has been going since 1995 with no problem. I don't baby it, but I don't abuse it either. Mine has handled 70,000 miles of highway towing and hauling, and extended off-road use while hauling a camper/farm gear/tools/wood/rocks/gravel. I suspect that tire smoking burnouts on pavement, or hammer down operation in mud and rocks while hauling a load would quickly kill the Lockright.

LockRight behavior on pavement is noisy and clunky. Torque steer is pronounced when tire inflation or diameter is not the same on both sides. Any locker can be a handful on ice, but lockers work very well in snow. Traction with a LockRight is substantially better than a limited slip can provide.
