Practical Solutions Heavy Duty Idler Pulley

Has anyone put on one of the P. S. idler pulleys? How do you like it? Was the original really plastic? Have any of the originals been found to be worn out when replaced? I purchased one for $35 when I ordered the boost module and elbow, but just haven't got around to installing it yet.

I also ordered a boostmodule/elbow from P. S
How do you like it and does it work O. K. Looking forward to getting mine. The idler pully is of hard plastic, Gordon also wonted to sell me one when I talked to him,but I think I will hold off on the pully for now.

Joe, The boost module and elbow seem to work great coupled with the VA CPC. Seat of the pants increase is good. Now for the gages and 275 hp injectors.

I put the new P. S. IRON idler in... and it is TRICK!!!!

It is MUCH wider than the stock unit... and it bounces on the belt MUCH LESS!!

The stocker was indeed PLASTIC... BaHHH!!!. .

It made a nice THUD when it hit the inside of the DUMPSTER!!

Is it NEEDED... . Well... ... Maybe not... . but neither is a DIESEL for a guy that doesn't OWN ANYTHING TO TOW!!!...

If you INSIST in only the ABSOLUTE BEST for your CUMMINS... BUY ONE!!!!

I know it makes me FEEL better...

BTW. . It upped my HP by 45 ponies. . and my mileage has more than doubled... . and my EGT's went down 200 degrees. . and... ... ... . #ad
