BIG looking in from VEGAS!!!!!

Smokin'!

Why would you believe anything a cop tells you?

Well for one thing he's the one thats going to haul my butt off. Second I don't want to pay an attorney to get me and my gun out of hock. (jail) On the game cop reality shows for Maine, Alaska and California they show them hauling them off for alcohol and guns in the field and on private proporty. So I guess ask an attorney in your State.

Now that is an interesting tale... . that I will be checking into. I might be wrong, but I am not thinking this one is going to hold any water, or any other liquid.

Called the Sheriff today to make sure the house and stock are ok? I asked him about the beer and guns thing. After he quit laughing he asked what state did a magazine say that it would be illegal? and then replied NEVER MIND. If the person is obviously intoxicated and has a gun in possession YOUR IN DEEP I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER. If what we do having a couple and a lunch the officer would have to be A TOTAL A** HOLE and in need of some big time BROWN NOSE POINTS to say anything. The Sheriff is looking after our house until some family members can take over in a day or so, so he asked if he could use our gun range at the house and said that he PROMISES TO PICK UP THE BEER CANS. Being in the middle of REDNECK CITY we must be at a little disadvantage NOT KNOWING ANYTHING other than COMMON SENSE :-laf

You get my vote Mr. Big... . still looking into Oregon law for something to back up what the game cop told ata..... nothing even close yet. Imagine that.

Boys I wish I had some ring girl photos to put up :-{} but I don't. I did shoot a little this weekend with the aid of a few beers, I was off on my shot placement don't know if it was the beer or the 30mph cross wind:-laf.

All I know is YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID

You are right in Oregon you can be DRUNK as WHATEVER and still have a FIREARM in your hand? Got this from another game officer at the Tillamook OSP office? So I'am WRONG and have to quit watching those REALITY SHOWS. I'm going to my room and STAND in the CORNER now.

We all would like to believe LEO's when they tell us something. Unfortunately, sometimes they tell us what they think, not what they know. Here is what I do know: if I knew as little about my job as SOME police officers know about theirs' , I wouldn't have my job.

I have to agree with you. But we still have to listen to them. Make them mad and you will pay. (cash)

Darn you Big!!! Those links led to 45 minutes of videos (I had to quit!!). Some NICE long range shots!

Was looking at AR's today too... dang, $1500 ish for a nice one. Left with the S&W 22 I bought a week ago:D

When we lived in So Ca use to go ground squirrel shooting about the same thing really. I have never found that MY AR's were quite up to the task of LONG SHOTS at coke can size targets, course I didnt like them for that sport anyway I like bolt guns for most of the rifle shooting.

For long range I have a 220 Swift. I've worked up a load with Hornady 50 Gr V-Max. 3800 FPS and 1" groups @ 200 yards. These are the kinds of guns that have coined the "Red Mist" phrase :-laf
Not much left after a good hit. Mostly it's the Ruger 10-22. Shoot all day long for a few bucks worth of ammo.

But I still want an AR style shooter... gotta be ready for the Zombie Apocalypse!
