Hey all i'm new to the forum just wondering if any body has had the same problem with their tail lights. yesterday i noticed that my tail lights were not working. i had brake lights but no running lights. i had my wife check and when i hit the brake pedal my dash lights came on!! they would turn on and off in sync with the brake lights. so this morning i took it to the ******* (towbin dodge in las vegas) and he said they would "check it out" well long story short they have to order a new wiring harness and a new dash "cover" because the mech messed something up. they are also supposed to fix what i can only explain as "slop" in the sterring shaft. the service writer who didn't look old enough to shave told me i can pick it up when i return from portland next weekend and it will have no more creaks and squeeks than it did when i brought it in. i some how think he is blowing wind up my skirt. on a side note does any body have exp with towbin dodge. I am hoping my baby pulls through. in the mean time i am trying to convince the wife "we" need a new truck. :( :{

Good luck. My Las Vegas dealer experiences have not been good. My brother had problems with the finance department, the service department and the parts department at Towbin, he said he wouldn't trust them with a tricycle. I recently had my truck into Desert Dodge three times for warranty work on the steering and they never fixed anything, they claim 4 1/2" of slack in the steering wheel is "within spec", they also left the vacuum lines unhooked when they changed the transfer case:mad: I tried to order some parts over the phone from Chapman Dodge, they told me they wouldn't order without a deposit and they only accept a deposit in person, I told him my truck was dead, its a three hour round trip and I couldn't get to town for 5 days and would like to pick up the parts then to save a trip so could he take a credit card deposit over the phone, he said he could order my parts in 5 days when I left my deposit in person and hung up on me :mad:

I have not heard anything bad about Nevada Dodge or Integrity Dodge. I think if I needed a dealer again (very unlikely since I'm out of warranty now:)) I'd try Nevada Dodge.

jrobinson2,

You might want to give Anderson Chrysler 3920 North Highway 95, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 (928) 764-5153 a call. Not saying they're perfect, but being from Wyoming I had a lift pump go out and they took care of it on warranty in 3 days. That was on my 2000. The delay they said was because they weren't allowed to stock what DC calls transfer pumps. I guess there were too many DC thought were being changed unnecessarily. They couldn't deny mine because it had to be brought in on a roll away wrecker service. Good luck on your parts.
