pre-filter screen

Could you tell me where the pre-filter screen is, i would like to check and clean it. also, my filters are new, fleetguard from Geno's garage. Also this is a five speed with 245,000 miles. Thanks again. KPittman

It's in the fuel heater, almost the center of this picture. Some folks remove the starter for easy access, I've always worked around it.

You can take the prefilter cover off from above. It has a 17mm hex lug on the bottom. Craig
