Pre-painted tailgate from MBI Auto

Hey All,
I screwed up the tailgate on my 2008 dually and would like to buy a new one. On Ebay and Amazon I see a company called MBI Auto sells pre-painted aftermarket tailgates. You give them your paint code and they ship it to your door ready to go supposedly. They are apparently a direct fit replacement (probably a Chinese knock-off). Does anybody have experience with these? The price sounds pretty good, but I don't really want some flimsy piece of junk for a tailgate either. Share your knowledge please. thanks!

Generally' the fit an overall quality are not that good on aftermarket stuff, paint match has a lot of variables. My body/paint man blends everything no matter how new. I would look on you local craigslist first for a good used. the color match might be better too (if same color).

You can also do a Internet used part search. I found a used tailgate for a 2004 in Texas. They shipped. It was a perfect color match but had a slight ding which was noted in their response and photo before I bought.

My dad bought one of these a couple years back. Paint was a good match, fit was good, strength was good. RUST that's another story. original gate lasted 9 years. this gate started having rust out issues on the lower edge about 1 year after he got it. 18-24 months it was junk.
