Well, not be throwing cold water ,so to speak, on this subject, I had a pre turbo pyro for several years along with DD1's. This summer with heavy towing my exhaust manifold split right through the hole that had been drilled for the pyro. On replacing the manifold ( a $750 job) the tech told me I could have burned the valves if I had continued driving. Dodge would not drill the manifold and as of now I do not have the pyro connected to anything.
