Dave0, nice well used shop' nice bike looks to fast for me I'll stick with my Mule, great protection system.
Dane it looks the protection system will love to drag your knee and the rest of your old bones to his favorite corner. #ad

Mopar-Muscle nice car. Is that a Dart or its Plymoth cousin? It looks to short to be any thing else. Unless the angle makes the back trunk area look short. Looks like GT emblem on grill. Though the grill and back side windows look more like Road Runner material. Satellite was the Base Road Runner right? What was the base model for the Super Bee,the Coronet?
Justbeamn I will agree with Max it is a Sunbeam didn't know Model though. Another Chrysler product.
Bad340fish nice Barracuda.
HEMI®Dart I would of thought you had a Dart GT. Here you have Challenger or is it it's cousin the Barracuda(Cuda)? Looks like it will ge going to the drag strips when finished.

AWESOME iron guys! #ad

Mopar and Hemi, tell us about the most important part... . your engines.

badfish , nice fish , and it moves right along i see .

hemi , that thing is crying for a 528 inch hemi !!

mule , its a 69 dodge superbee , based on the coronet , yes its the angle of the shot that makes it look short , its every bit of 18 feet long ... this is the only completed shot of the car i have , its lousy , right now the car is in a state of disassemble , detailing the engine bay while i rebuild the engine .

john , right now its a 383 rebuilt a bit hotter than stock stock 4 spd car, but i am collecting pieces , i have 4. 15 stroker crank and a set on manley rods , to build a 500 inch engine, based in a 440 block, to replace the 383 , when finished it should propel this tank , 3900 lbs with driver , into the 11's on street tires through the exhaust , 10's on the bottle ... #ad

and look stock as a clock with the hood open... except for the headers and dual 3" exhaust

gtx cool ride , is that a glass front end ? is that speed corrected or actual in thin air ? if so , that moving ... one thing i notice , a more period correct scoop would finish off that beautiful car ... #ad

Thanks Mopar, yours looks great, nice n clean. There is some nice motovation in the this thread.

Yes it is a glass front. The roof and quarters are steel the rest is glass. The speed is 131 in the spring and fall, about 129 in the summer. Yeah it would be nice to have a smaller scoop but its a tall intake and carb setup. I sit where the back seat was so seeing around the scoop is not fun in the pits.

DaveO,
Are the cabinets/counters store bought or custom made? I'm going to be setting up the garage in my new house and am looking for a source... .

Brian

Missouri Mule,

I am building it to be a street legal car. No local drag strips around here. Its not hard to make it street legal. Front and rear tires are DOT approved. Is a '70 Cuda. Not sure what engine I'm going to use yet.

An Older Picture: #ad

Mopar-Muscle,

Yes the 528ci Crate HEMI® would pull it around well. Its still to darn expensive #ad

Dave O,

Ladder Bars Suspension. Narrowed 8 3/4 rear. Stock re-splined axles. 4. 88 Sure Grip. 33 X 21. 5 X 15 Mickey Thomson Sportsmans on 15" X 15" Crager Drag stars.

GTX,

Holy Cow! Thats a BAD *** CAR. NICE WORK!!

Hope this works

It's a 70 Plymouth GTX, Chrome-moly tube chassis, 426 HEMI, 727 Auto, 5. 00 gears, 2600 lbs with me in it. Runs 10. 30's @ 131 mph in Denver.
