Predator Box from DR Performance?

ANybody ever use this box? A dealer in Helena MT offered me one ($495) with 60 day money back guarnatee.

Claims to change the timing of the fuel rather than increasing pressure. Supposed to give 70HP, 25-30% Torque. Advertised as a good chip for guys that dont have all the other bombs.



Just curious about it - might go for the 60 day install, and then MAYBE Edge might have the Juice done by then... ... ... ... .....

I will have to check before I say for sure, but I believe your dealer is wrong. I am almost positive the predator box is a rail pressure box and not a timing box.

ask where it hooks up. If this is the box I'm thinking of, it plugs into the pressure port. It cannot adjust timing unless it hooks up to all six injectors.



Dr. Performance streteches the meaning of things we take for granted, so be careful when you read claims. For example, HP improvements are compared to certain low-end HP delivered by the stock engine. NOT to peak output. peak output with the box is no greater than stock.

I'd sooner dump topsoil into my turbo inlet than hook a Dr. P box up to my valuable engine.
