I have a turbo/exhaust brake compatibility question

What can anyone tell me about "Predator". It is a plug-in piece that is supposed to give the engine more power. Some guy was telling me about it, but he drives a Ford - so I wanted to come to the spot where I knew I would get the real facts. Thanks!

I have a '06 1-ton and a '97 3/4 ton.

From what I have read here, most will not recommend their products. I do not run them myself but my friend has a stage 2 module on his 04 1-ton that he uses everyday to pull with. He bought the truck new in 04, and is just rolling 100,000 miles on it with no problems as far as the motor goes. The power increase was great, the milage increase was no where to be found. On the other hand, There was a older ferd here that had one of their kits (turbo, injectors, module) It was a continual problem for these people and had to be taken off.

I have an 06 and have had the Predator triple play (model 2021) on for three weeks now. The power is awesome on stage three (performance). Can't tell much difference when dropping down to stage two (towing). Very noticeable from stock. The only issue I've had is that on the long trips I've taken recently it will throw an engine code that the "fuel rail pressure is high". But it has only done that twice in about 3000 miles. I erase the code and everything is great. That is the only thing that I don't like about it. Also, havn't noticed anything on fuel mileage except a loss. But I contribute that to playing around more than I should and driving around 80 on the highway.

Hope this helps you

Michael
