Premium cloth vs standard?

Found a truck without premium cloth... I know the folding rear section is a nice thing. Any other feedback?



How many of you have the standard cloth? How do you like it?



How many of you with the folding rear section actually use it?

Does the premium package have the under seat storage or is it just a cloth difference? I have laways been a leather kinda guy on my trucks!

Storage under front center cushion comes with premium cloth and Laramie only.

I have had both, My 04 3500 has the premium cloth, My 04 2500 Hemi had the standard. The premium cloth is definitly more durable and the front seats have better lumbar support. You will use the folding flat storage more than you think... Also the premium cloth seat has a better center console, change holder and power outlet, along with the under center seat storage.

As far as the rear goes, it has a split bench as opposed to the full bench on the standard.

Note that the folding flat storage in the rear is not part of the premium cloth seating option. It is another $100, and well worth it.

In my opinion the rear fold flat storage is one of the best options to come out in years. But then again I am a sales rep and keep mine in use daily with literature and samples. Others may not have the same needs.

I have the standard cloth and is OK. I don't have the fold flat floor a or the split seat but its only the MRS. and me most of the time. I thought I'd spend the extra dollars elsewhere. Jim

Premium cloth was on the list of "necessary options" when I was shopping. The front center under-the-seat storage was something I really wanted, along with the load flat floor.

One of the things I'll be doing is taking the family camping. We'll be spending a lot of hours dragging our TT behind us, since one of our goals is to see the lower 48 states in the truck. I'm somewhat concerned about the standard cloth not holding up too well to little kids over the long haul. I also really like the idea of extra storage in the cab.

Do not forget to the power seat, well worth the money if you will be driving for long distances!!!

Ditto.



The 6 way power seat allows you to contour the seat to your body. Very well worth the $400. 00 cost.

When I got mine, premium cloth included the center seat bottom storage and power seats. I have standard which includes seat back storage and manual seats, driver and passenger separately adjustable.

I told the dealer that I wanted to hold off for a truck with premium cloth. Maybe I'm more pickey than I thought. Fortunately I've got a truck on order, so if nothing turns up before "my" truck gets here, I'll get one in ... oh, July or so.

Good move, premium is worth it. It will last longer.
