This year at the ball dropping in Times Square, as the ball falls 2 platforms will rise up alongside it carrying 2 Silver 2007 Chevy Tahoe's.

GM also bought up most of the billboards in Times Square, and every available prime TV commercial slot.

So GM is about to cleverly force millions of Americans to watch a gigantic car commercial.

Does this annoy you? It annoys me!

It wont annoy me because the more money they spend on these advertisements, the sooner they will file for bankruptcy next year.

YES!!!! :-laf :-laf :-laf I used to care about GM because they had EMD. But now they have let EMD go (best thing that could have happened for EMD) I could care less about GM.

GM just got too big for itself and forgot about what got them there. Ford is in the same boat with thier diesel trucks now.

It won't bother me because I won't be watching it. I really could care less whether it's bilboards or Dick Clark saying who the thing is sponsored by. Same thing, just GM being more in your face.

I hate all of this crap... You are watching a weather report sponsored by Ford, sports report sponsored by Nike, bla, bla, bla. It drives me nuts. I don't care who payed for it, just tell me what I want to know and thats it.

Just how long will it be before some lame company starts using the moon as a projector screen. I read a few years back in P. S. that laser was about to be used to advertise on the moon.

Well, apparently Automotive News got it dead wrong. I saw no Tahoe's rising up alongside the ball. Unless they simply didn't show it on TV...

False alarm, I suppose.

I have to agree Ryan, Gimick Motors has to do something to stay afloat. Instead of building a better car/truck, they use the research money for something like this.

It' OK, GM can do whatever they want with there money. Besides, whatever it cost them is a drop in the bucket when compared to what they spend everyday on whatever they want.
