A question for Ford.

General Motors Introduces New Instant-Win Airbags

I hear ya and feel the same way but in most of Maryland you need to prepay. No choice in the matter, CCor ATM at the diesel pump is hit or miss and usually does not work. Sucks but it is the way it is. I buy diesel in the City at a Royal Farm where lots of trucks buy and the pumps are the big fast ones used on trucks. Try waitin in line behind 46 crack heads buying lotto tickets and not just random numbers either these people got some special numbers they picked out :{ Takes friggin forever, and then they haggle over a pack of ciggarettes, trying to buy singles and payin with change. I live far from the city but work in it so I have to deal with these idiots all the time. Really gives you a bad taste about living in a diverse ethnic society :( Waited a half hour in line the other day while some Hoodlehead argued with the clerk about how much change she shoukld be gettin back. I just try and laugh and enjoy the show :-laf

I have a friend who I just introduced to the "Visa check card" so he can purchase stuff over the phone because he doesn't want to use his credit card...

So your friend thinks it is safer to give access to his bank account information over the phone instead of a credit card number????

If you want to be a friend, then tell him to put that check card away and use a credit card. It's a lot easier to dispute charges on a credit card, and nobody can get to your bank account through a credit card.

No, but nice of you to jump to a quick assumption.

My friend doesn't like to have balances on his credit card. It has nothing to do with safety. He has a hard time paying off his credit card and he finally got it paid off. He doesn't want to charge stuff on it, but he still likes the convenience of using one. And the check card has the same safety guards built in. My bank/credit union has the same safety provisions, the same if not better than a credit card...

When I made that statement I was referring to the fact he was still "old school" like some members around here :D
