On another thread, I am trying to delay the death of my Jeep Patriot by rust. I have POR-15 cleaner, metal prep, and the POR-15 coating. As suggested, I am attacking rust spots with a pneumatic needle scaler and wire wheel on an old electric drill.
I cannot disassemble the entire vehicle, which means I can't scrub everything done to shiny. If I hit the tight spots quite well with the needle scaler and follow the steps then do you think I'll get good adherence and protection?
