Personally I didn't have to use one but I'm still stock so later, who knows...
When I was looking I came across this place. Think I got it from a thread on TDR.

I have a 2nd gen but use needle valves. You can shut the needle valve completely off if need be. I like them because I need to bleed air in gauge lines every 2 years or so, also can turn needle valve off and change pressure sensor.

Take one of the fittings and solder or braze the end shut, being care full to use the pipe thread end and not getting in the threads. Then take a set of micro drill bits. Can be found at your local welding supply store for cleaning torch tips. Drill a . 012 hole in the closed off end, this will restrict the hammer affect. I have done this to measure the pulse pressure in the crank case of two stroke engines with great success.

I just use a really good quality brass needle valve from a commercial plumbing company. It is like the needle valve on the back of your refridgerator for an ice maker.

well put the snubber on the boost gauge and it works awesome. No flutter at 15lbs boost+. Nice and steady all the way up.

I used one of these, costs $18. 00 in the door. Installs in 30 secs. and works great.

I got mine off ebay thinking I needed one for the 3rd gen... its a 1/8" NPT femaleX1/8" NPT male. Total length of about 3/4".

I think it was something like $10 shipped.

OK,

Just ordered the PS-8G from omega. My question is, which end of the boost tube did ya'll place the snubber? On the engine side or the gauge side of the boost line? My thinking is that the gauge would have quite a delay if placed at the manifold end of the boost tube... right? I think the best place would be at the gauge, ie. higher accuracy? What are ya'll's thoughts, ideas, or suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
