Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Pressure Tested Cooling System

I think it's the radiator core. No visible leaks. No engine oil in coolant. No coolant in the oil. Am getting an oily sheen on all interior windows sometimes. No coolant to be found anywhere on the carpet underneath the carpet ect.



Pumped 16 p. s. i into the system. 30 minutes later 14 p. s. i on the gauge.

Do you mean HEATER core? You didn't really say what was wrong besides "an oily sheen on all interior windows sometimes". Are you losing coolant?

Heater Core is what I meant to say.



I lost ½" coolant in my recovery tank in a week.



Yes, loosing coolant. Not a lot.

If heater core is leaking the coolant is probably draining out the a/c drain.

Quite a job to replace that rascal. I also replaced the evaporator core while I was there and checked all servos. Had one that would not hold vacuum.
