Good day. I have a stock '00 4x4 quadcab which I bought a couple of months ago. Allegedly, the transmission was rebuilt. I have no idea what this entailed but, so far, it's running great.
I am planning to keep this truck for a while. I'm not planning on heavy HP upgrades but I'll probably experiment with the Adrenaline a bit when I put it in.
I'm going to have my local transmission shop check out the health for me so I have a better idea what I'm working with. One upgrade I've been looking at is the BD Pressureloc.
As far as I understand it, the PL arm replaces the throttle position arm and the throttle position cable attaches to that new PL arm. Is this right?
If so, how does the PL prevent moving the throttle pedal when it's activated by lockup?
Also, judging from personal use, what value would you place on your own Pressureloc?
Thanks for the input.
