I have 100,000 miles on my turbo that has seen alot of high boost and I am wondering if it would be worth it to take it off and let a shop check it over and replace any seals or anything or if it is one of those parts you just have to wait until it fails.

Turbo

It wouldn't hurt to have it checked to be on the safe side or you could just upgrade it to a little bigger one. It's you choice.

Well, I plan to upgrade it at some point but regardless don't want to have an unexpected failure if it can be avoided. i just didn't know if it was any cheaper to have it looked over now or wait. I don't really know what there is that can be checked. I would think it would be cheap to fix any where in the bushing or whatever the shaft turns in.
