Hi,

Bought my truck new in 1999 it just turned 100,000 miles and runs great all I have ever done was change oil and filter and fuel filter.

What kind of preventative maintenance should I perform after 100,000 miles.

Should I change injectors, put in new pump? I don't know any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you, Ed2

Ed2: The following items are a few things you can do to your truck. 1. CHECK YOUR FUEL PSI. VERY IMPORTANT ON THE 24 VALVES. A GOOD PUMP IS ABOUT 14-15 AT IDLE. 2. CHANGE THE COOLANT. 3. CHANGE THE transmission FLUID/FILTER. 4. CHECK/ADJUST THE VALVES. 4. DIFFERENTIAL FLUID CHANGE WOULD'NT HURT EITHER. 5. KEEP ON DRIVIN. Hope this list helps a little. P. S. I almost forgot the most important thing, MORE POWER!!! GOOD LUCK.

don't forget

If it is a 4x4 don't forget the tranfer case it doesn't hold much fluid only 4. 5 quarts? Mine was nasty at 62k.
