Hey guys:

I was wondering what are these trucks bringing in $ these days. Let me know what options you have, how many miles are on the truck, and what you have paid for them the past year. The more responses the better!

Thanks,

John

1991 W250 reg cab

paid $10,200 about a year and half ago in IN

180k miles, all luxary options, 727 trans, gn hitch, aluminum wheels, SS rear bumber, no performance parts, excelent condition

I paid $10k in September for my '92 D250 LE, 47k miles on it when I bought it. As part of the LE package it has:

* A/C

* power mirrors, windows, and locks

* rear slider

* intermittent wipers

* tilt

* cruise

* AM/FM cassette

It also has the 4-speed HD auto trans, 8510 GVW/HD suspension, etc. The truck came with a 5th wheel hitch and tailgate, and a locking tool box in the bed. :)

I paid $9500 for mine. I bought it from a friend (he got a deal on a 98 w 22000 mi) 93 W250 clubcab 130,000 mi K&N filter studded tires and wheels a set of coopers (Summertires) with less than 500 mi a couple of spots of real minor rust.

I gave $8500. 00 for my '92 W350 club cab, Auto, Loaded. Body wise the truck is in great shape. Engine is excellent. Just sank $800. 00 into brake system, master cylinder, booster, rear shoes. , and a u-joint. Trany needs some help. Probably gave a bit much for it but it came along with a snow plowing business with contracts that are doing quite well for me so I guess I shouldn'r complain. ;)

I paid $5500 for my '93 w250 LE Club Cab, which is more than I have ever paid for a vehicle, paint is very good,it has a lttle rust on the outer rockers, interior was almost mint, slight rip in driver's seat. it needed a rear wheel speed sensor, an exhaust and a ujoint on the left front, the front springs are letting the truck hang with just an inch between the stops and axle, but I love the way it drives, goes great, transmission had just been rebuilt..... my only complaint is the turning circle, it's like driving a long single screw boat...

I know what you mean... give it a shot of power as you start the turn

:D

I paid $6200 for mine 1 1/2 years ago... a plain-jane stock truck with no options, but low miles, new tires, new appolstry, bed liner and a fresh (albeit cheap) paint job ,no rust found. . Needed brakes all around including rear drums.

Worth every penny so far.

Paid 5250 for 89 W250 bout 6 months ago. 100,000+-. Engine was clean, mechanically tip top, but since this was a farm/work truck, the body is about rusted off. No dents. just alot of rust. Looked like an old Dodge draggin its tail- rear springs sagging. Replaced rear springs, fuel return line leak, rear speed sensor, 4wd indicator light, KN filter, and of course had to put a new goat head on the hood. Next to come new seat, and new front leaf springs. Who cares about the rusted body, I dont.

I paid $8500 for my 91 W250 a little over a year ago. Body was clean, had 162,000 on it then and run like a dream. It had the LE package so power everything.

About 8 months ago I paid $5100 for my 92 D250 with 205,000 and the LE package. Body was in beautiful shape being a southern truck, it ran good and had new tires.

I paid 10k 6 months ago.

The truck is a 1991 W-250 and had 49k on it when I bought it. It has always been garage kept and the finish is flawless. It is an early 91 so it didn't have an intercooler or overdrive. It had a very nice color matched bed cover. I have spent about 2k on performance and other parts. I had it undercoated so that it will last another 10 years in the Il. winters. I added a Banks intercooler, autometer guages, a HX35 turbo with 16 cm housing, trailer brake controller, a combo cass. /cd/radio player from a later car. All in all, I love my truck and I still think that it was a good deal.

It is still on the original tires!

Good luck,

Dan

Less then $3k in mine, just needs a new seat and some fresh paint. NO rust, flatbed, no power options. I never could understand why everyone pays so much for these trucks, doesnt make any kind of sense to me. I watch ebay and see trucks go from around 5500 to up to 12000, but most have more miles then mine.

I figure all the power options, and A/c, new interior, new paint can all be added to mine, but you cant get rid of the miles on the truck. Even after all that work is done I will still have way below $5k in it.

I can buy the same trucks going for $7k and over here for around $4k, for no reason other then location I guess?

Paid $4000 about 6 months ago for my 93 D250 LE club cab. I found it on base where I work. Guy recently retired and wanted a real 4-door so he bought a F150. Had 207,000 miles on it. Body good but paint on top of hood and roof has oxidized badly. Rear end was shot, took $1300 to fix, and needed tires. The truck is my daily driver and other than the loose transmission runs great.

LE options included power everything, even the mirrors - and it all still works... :p

Paid 13,000 for mine almost 5 years ago. Now has 111,000 miles and needs nothing but one front speaker crackles. Paint is redone but high quality including clearcoated. Maybe just maybe gonna be up for sale. Working on a 03 H. o. deal putting numbers togather. Has a gooseneck hitch.

I shelled out $7000 for the '92 reg. cab LE package, 5 sp. dirtbag, sitting in the parking lot. That was a year and a half ago next month. It had about 138,000 on it, and I've pushed it up 167K now. I was told it had the dirtbag rebuilt at about 125K, but the previous owner pulled a 20K gooseneck flatbed to PA. weekly. It came with an "American" toolbox/20gal. tank combo, custom headache rack/bedrails made from 2" tube steel, and a stock Cummins.

not recently, but I bought my 92 D250 LE auto for $3750. 198k miles. had all the options, conversion seats, and came with 5th wheel plate/wiring, LEER topper, 110gal aux tank, brake controller, etc.

I sold it back to the guy I bought it from 50k miles and some wear and tear later for $2500.

I'm going to look at a '94 today to make sure the dowel pin hasn't backed out. if it hasn't, I'll be buying it. it's a 2wd 2500 5sp single cab with 232k on it. I talked him down to $2500.

the key is to find the ones with bad paint! :p

purchase price

I paid 14,000 6mo ago or so. 93,350 dually,4x4 s/c,auto,new carpet installed at purchase,140,000 miles beautiful condition,black,alum. wheels, . price seems high but wanted 1st gen. and can't find any. gone as soon as posted in traders,etc. we purchased from dealer and all dealers are around 13-14000 for these and won't budge as they don't have problem selling them. ,even the 2wd's. would have preferred 5spd but that makes it even more scarce.

not sorry we bought it,we just love the truck. plan on dtt trans mod later and bigger injectors.

I looked at a '91 W-250 (in '01) before I got my '97. Kinda wished I bought it now since it had such low miles, only had 48,500 miles on it. But am really happy with the one I got. The '91 had Reg. cab, auto (3 spd. ) air, cruise, topper, topper and power windows. He put Red Line synthetics in the T-case and front/rear diffs. Absolutely in mint condition. He was asking $12,000.

My Dad had me put his 1990 350 CTD 2wd std cab up here for sale about a month and a half ago. Asking $3800. 150K miles, 2nd owner since 38K miles.

He didnt get not one call.

He asked me last week if I wanted it (I didnt really) and I said OK.

I gave him $1400. 00 and a brand new Remington 7400 in 30-06 with a $400. 00 Leupold scope, rings and base for it.

I never got a chance to shoot it. :D
