Price on 305/70/17 Goodyear MTRs

I got a price on 305/70/17 Goodyear MTRs of $1147. 58 for 4 installed, here in town. This seems like a good deal. Anybody get a better price? It comes to $286. 90 a tire installed. Tyres International wanted $311 a piece.

Try www.tirerack.com they are listing them for $211 each and i doubt shipping and mount/balance is $100 a tire. I paid around 40 to ship 4 car tires from them.

I hate them

I have gone through 2 sets of goodyear tires on my 03 Dodge. I was so mad at them, they seemed fine at first, then as soon as you get any miles on them they go out of balance and out of round, can't even balance them anymore Now I will only use Generals

I wonder if thats got something to do with the weight of the truck. . Ive got 35x12. 50x15 MTR's on my Jeep, and Ive got 45k miles out of them, and they still have about 1/2 the tread left...

15k on my 305-17 mtr's and atleats 50-60% tread left. Awesome tire. Minimal noise, excellent handling dry or wet, and of course its an off road monster. BTW I got mine for under $200 a pop. If you call tire rack or discount tire, believe it or not they will usually knock a few dollars off if you try.

There is a set on Ebay now mounted on H2 wheels. Do a search for h2 under the wheel and tire category.
