Have located a 2001 Club Cab SL, HO w/ 6-speed, 9 ft steel bed with less than 200 miles on it. It was special ordered at the end of the 2001 model yr and the person that ordered it decided not to take it. The only miles on it are demo drive miles. The asking price is $26,500. 00. How bout it, a good price? My truck is still doing OK, but I have a lot of miles on it. Would it be worth considering at this price?

It would depend on if it was a plain jane SL or one that was loaded up. Are you sure it wasn't an SLT ?

i gave 27 for my 2001 reg cab 4x4 2500. I think the club cab adds about 3K to the truck. that was invoice price new. Man that truck is kinda old to only have 200 miles. The 2001 started production In dec 99 I think and They started making the 2001. 5 in likemay or something so that truck is like almost 3 years old. Hey i love mine. Look at a blue book. If it is a 2001. 5 you have better brakes on it

Price

The truck is an SL, not an SLT. It does have AC , and all the regular SL equipt. No electric windows and locks. The truck is considered a new truck, it is at a dealer where it has been since it was delivered.

I think it's pretty high, EB, unless that bed is something special that you need. I gave $27,900 for my 2001. 5 4x4 with 15,000 miles and every option that can be ordered plus a snugtop and rhinoliner.

Drove it today

Drove the truck today, something is wrong with it. My 95 will run circles around it. The transmission grinds on down shifts. Think I now know why it's still on the lot. Won't be getting this truck. Will look for a 2003 HO single cab and put a work bed on it. Thanks for the input.
