Oh hell, it was 112 outside in July a couple of years ago and I pulled the grapevine on I-5 with my 5ver doing 80, ac on, egt's below 1300. Then I noticed the coolant temp rising into the red zone. I slowed down to 65 and continued up the hill and the coolant temp came down to a safer level. Does this mean that I can sue Dodge because my hopped up 12v didn't go as fast as I wanted in 112 degree heat? Seriously, that idiot should wake up and get a clue.

yea really, reminds me of when i was towing grandads f350 back from va and while pulling that long hill just south of ronoke on I81 tooling along with the cruise on 70 mph it's about 97* the ac's rocking i am about 2/3 the way up and this $%^&ing maxipad gets in my way, he's dragging what looked like about a 5K# bumper pull travel trailer all hunched up on the wheel like he's willing the truck up the hill he finally gets outta the hammer lane and i burp the throttle and blow him a nice cummins fart as i sail by :-laf

oh my god, that was friggin funny. maybe if he would have turned the u-hall around it may have been a little better, who knows. all I can offer is the traler and jeep have gotta way more than the empty u-haul and flatbed. and, how much was his transmission slippin, was the Dodge a stick?
