I have been lurking around here, searching for Pricol gauge help and really have not found much. I got my gauges last christmas and just recently installed them on a '05 2500 Quad Cab. The boost works awsomely, but the EGT is not working. The lights work, but not the gauge itself. I was wondering if anyone has had similar issues.

The gauge power wire is hooked up to the iginition wire, pink with yellow stripe. Checked gauge with Volt meter, 12 VDC. Hooked both the light and ampilifer ground to the same factory ground. I got the gauges from Geno's and I have already called for help. They were more than helpful. They said to check the ground. They gave me the number for Danin Pricol, but no one is answering.

I was just wondering if anyone has had the same issue.

Your using a Danin probe? Nice tight connections on the probe leads? When you put the shrink tubing on, the leads werent touching?

The connections at the exhaust manifold are tight and the leads are tight. Plus, I individually heat shrinked both leads, than together with another heat shrink. I am starting to wonder if my gauge is bad. :(

#@$%! Ok so I reran the boost and the leads for the Thermal Coupler. I check power at the mullenix connector, 12. 3 VDC. I remade the ground at a new place. I checked all the voltages with a volt meter and than with a test light. I check the ground and than I ran a lead from the negative side of the battery, still no change. I did call Danin/Pricol earlier in the week. All they asked was if I had 12 volts at the mullenix connector. I have continuity through the thermal coupler 4. 9 ohms. I think I ohmed the amplifier at about 2 megs plus or minus a meg. The light works and it dims. I have a picture of the thermal coupler. When I installed it, the hole was already drilled and tapped, I got the coupler's coupler tight but it did not go all the way down. I did pull it out and it was HOT to the touch. I am going to call Danin and get a new guage coming. But I am MAD,,
