Prime loc kits are available again for a limited time from Ashland. .

CAll Ben at 570-875-2620 to get one. I think they cost around !89. 00 for the kit.

He said they put together a limited number and when they're gone it will be awhile til they're around again. Just thought someone would like to know! :)

Its a very well built fuel filter relocation kit to make changing the fuel filter easier.

FYI for those with 12 valves and a banks twin ram manifold, there is a bracket you can buy from Banks to make the prime loc work, its part number: 43400 and it retails for about $105

How often should one change the fuel filter, I changed mine as soon as I bought my truck and I think I got 7,000 Miles on it roughly now. I change oil every 5,000.

Thanks for the answer to kscheffler question. I change my fuel filter twice a year. I don't put alot of miles on my rig anymore so time dictates my changes. If you fuel at the same place all the time and you know you're getting clean fuel. You can probably extend the time or distance some. With the prime loc, changing the filter is much easier than when the filter was in the stock position. Filters, both oil and fuel are cheap, compared to the problems that arise from NOT changing them. :-laf

Just ordered mine last week. They shipped mine today after being backordered. I have been emailing Ashland for 2 years now. It looks like they finally read them. :-laf
