Picked up (and installed -what an excruciating wait!!) my new filter restriction guage from the Cummins place today (Las Vegas Cummins Intermountain on Losee Road) ... Cool-looking little unit. . 3 main pieces, 2 of which are adapter plates, and one is the indicator, a few little o-rings and some REAL SMALL

allen bolts--- I'm not a FAT-finger kinda guy, but the 15-minute install could have been 5 with a little design improvement and some larger allens---- enough ******* and moaning, it's on fer cryin' out loud!
The indicator attaches right onto the front of the filter-head, (designed for the newer "black-butterfly" filter-head, not the older silvery rectangle--will need adapter of some type)---simple little red/green plastic rod behind a clear window. . hidden coil spring in one end. . small amt of pressure comes from both "clean" and "dirty" side of filter--when the "dirty" pressure is 5psi higher than the "clean" side, the red is all that shows (shame on you!

)... all green-minimal restriction

half-n-half abt 2. 5--HVAC should change filters there!!

There's probably a politically correct pink/purple version for California, so as not to discriminate against red-green colorblind people, or those who have a pink/purple "preference
