I have one on my 96 and I had one on my Hot Rod 99 but it restricted fuel flow way to much. In 135,000 (on my 96) miles I have not had any trouble with my TPS and I do change my filter every 10,000 miles. I HATED the stock filter location, at 6'3" and 290 lbs it was not easy to change. If the Primeloc was not on my 96 I probably would drag out filter chages as long as I could.

Fuel Filter Change going to Alaska

Hey guys:

I went to Alaska in 1999 with a stock 1996 and did not change the fuel filter till I returned. Left with a new filter and put 14000 miles on the old girl. No problem.

Just my . 02 worth. . Heheh Dick

I wondered why I was suddenly getting email notifications. You guys and these old threads.

The primeloc is great on 12 valves because the pump doesnt depend on fuel for lubrication.

These things are trash on a 24v. Save your soul. The inlet and outlet on em are so small its difficult to believe any thought went into the design. Take the time and change your filter. I liked it because it was easy. I hate it because it was expensive.
