printed shop service manual

IS ther e any place that someone has found that will sell an OEM PRINTED service manual???,,,,i would even go for one that was printed from the factory CD,,,
OR,,should i look for a CD manual and ONLY pint the relevant pages for our cummins powered trucks,,,,i have a printed Factory manul for my 96,,,and would like to find one for my 2007 Megacab...if anyone has any ideas,,please let me know,,Thank you

I have used these guys before with good results. However the printed set for the 2007 is pricey.

You could get the CD and print it. the copy I have for my '08 would take over 10,000 pages. That would be pricey to print at Office Depo. it would be cheaper to buy a used laptop for us in the shop as the manual.

I bought the CD for my '06 since they wanted the world for the printed version. Since then I bought a ring binder and when I find what I want print a single copy and use in the garage. If the copy is still some what clean, into the binder for later. In time, it has cost me way less than I thought, and the copies are handy for the needed work. But I always have a clean version in the computer to print later. One thing I did do that is extra work, when I needed to make notes because I found something that will make it easier next time, I have it in the binder and a file with the manual that has the same notes so I will not lose them or have a clean copy for print if I grease up the paper version. Should have done this decades ago. I have several old hard copies of past vehicles that are dirty throughout.

I do that as well, also went to Staples and bought a gross of transparent plastic sleeves for a three ring binder. I slide the printed pages into the sleeves so that I can maul them with greasy hands and they will stay in readable condition. When the job is done it all goes in one of several binders.
I use sticky notes for any little tips and put them on any relevant printed pages inside the sleeves..

I'll admit the CD version is very much loved in my garage. I do what the others above me have done; print out and save only what's needed. My first shop manual I've ever owned that is in pristine condition every time I use it.

I scored a set for my 04 from a dealer I used to work at. They got rid of ALL their printed manuals as they use internet based systems now. Maybe check in with some local dealers and see if they are doing the same.

I purchased last week on Ebay and was connected to a downloadable link. An hour later I was reading it! I then burned it to a CD just in case! It was cheap and less than ten bucks. The quality is excellent. I always bought the books until this truck. The prices are now terrible on newer stuff.
