I just wanted to show a picture of the pro comp leveling kit I just put on. It is 3 inches in the front. I haven't seen anything about this kit on this site, so I thought I would throw this picture out there.

The local Dodge dealer here has been putting a lot of these kits on new trucks before they sell them.

I went ahead and put a 1 inch spacer on the rear as well. No death wobble yet!!

Looks like a nice kit, looked at your gallery too, great looking pickup. My question is, does the 1" rear spacer come with the kit or is it a seperate buy? If seperate, where did you get it from? How much loot did you have to fork over for everything? Thanks

Bert

The Pro Comp kit does not include the rear spacers. I got them off a 97 Ram that a buddy lowered. I had new u-bolts made for the rear $40. The kit I got from 4Wheelparts for $815.

I am gonna order the pro comp kit soon too. however I am not a fan of spacers so i am also ordering the d25 coils from skyjacker and I am getting add a leafs for the rear. In reality the pro comp kit is a little overkill for just 3 inches of lift but overkill is nice.

pro comp

very nice looking truck! the lift kit looks like it is made very well. who makes the shocks?

did you look at the super lift kit with the springs and blocks for 895? i think they call it a 4" lift. what did you not like about the super lift.

The shocks are Pro Comp MX-6(included in the kit), 6-way adjustable, very nice. I went with the 3" kit, so I can get it in the garage. Truck is 44" at the fenderwells and barely fits in the garage.

Has anyone else installed this kit? How's it holding up... any death wobble? And if it doesn't include rear spacers, do you need to supply them or are they unnecessary? Will this kit fit a 3500 SRW?

I am currently running the 2. 5" Skyjacker kit and (I also ran this kit on my 2001) and have never experienced the "death wobble". A friend of mine went out, spent $100 dollars on spacers and had the "death wobble" BAD!!! I think most guys that experience the "death wobble" are using kits that just provide the spacers or coils. To me, the key is the extended links that comes with the ProComp, Superlift, Tough Country and Skyjacker kits because they reposition the axle back where is was before the lift.

Were did you see the Superlift kit price at 895? The cheapest I've seen is $1000.
