Anyone running these tires? Looking at Extreme A/Ts in a 305 65 17 E. I don't know to much about the company and how they hold up.

I'm debating between those and the Nitto Terra Grapler AT 285/70 17 (E rated, of course).

Anybody have experience with either of these (sorry if this is kind of a hijack).

Due to height restrictions of my garage, I cannot use any larger of a tire.

I run pro comps currently.

They are as good or better than any other type of offroad tire out there.

One guy at work has the xtremes and he thinks they're great, they also look great.

Another guy has the mud terrains and they also look trick.

I just put on a set of Extreme AT's with that same size... . They do look great however I cant find any info from pro comp about tire pressures for my truck. I also looked at the nittos and the nitto rep told me that they were NOT a E rated tire and could not give me any recomendations for tire pressures or other info since they did not recommend a D rated tire for my truck. I hope this helps. Once I get some more miles on them i will try to post some more details on performance.

Check out my readers rig gallery, I am running the ProComps 325/65/18's. I have about 3500 miles on them so far and they are great, they aren't any nosier than the BFG's I took off.

As far as the air pressure, I am running 55 front and 40 rear. I don't do any towing so this is the pressure set up that works best for my truck. With 55 front and rear my truck had a rear end bounce over little bumps, and it was obvious that she was riding on the center half of the rear tires.

Overall impression, they are a great tire, I will know more as I rack up the miles.

I am running 315/75R16 Pro Comp Extreme ATs. I haul a lot of weight in my bed every day and drive almost 500 miles a day on them. So far I have gone about 20,000 miles on them and they still look almost brand new. I think they are a little noisier than the BFG ATs I had before but with the windows up I can't hear it. They also hook up really nice sled pulling!

Tires

Hey Smokin_Monster,

How good are they on wet slippery roads? I have Toyo MTs on my truck and they work great in the wet, better then my BFG MTs. Thanks,Sam.

In the rain they are fine. They will get just a little loose if you are going really fast through a deep puddle on the highway but no worse than any other tire I have tried. I haven't had them long enough to try in the winter.

I've got those exact tires. About 10000 miles on them, no problem so far. Cured my DW problem, for that they're worth their weight in gold!! Seem to be wearing ok too. Hope it helps.
