wondering if anyone is running the x-terrains from pro-comp? What's your thoughts on them? I'm thinking about getting the 315's for my truck and I was wondering if the sidewalls are stiff enough to hold up the front end. There on sale now buy three get the 4th free, the price is kind of high still just wondering if there worth it?

I have the 315's in the All-terrain's and have been pleased with them. Only thing the AT's fill up with mud easy and don't clear, but hey they're not Mud & Snow tires. You will need the 2" spacer lift in the front for those big 35" to clear safely. I plan to go with the X-t's next time.

thank's guy's! Hopefully I'll have enough $ to get tires and rims, leveling kit and new shocks at the same time. and the list go's on! Merry Christmas to me.

315 Xterrain's...I got 'em

and I LOVE 'em. I have a 2" FLK on mine and the factory 8" alloy wheels. The only time they rub is full lock to lock on the trailing arms. If you get new wheels make sure the offset is out another inch or so.

My Xterrains are wearing much better than my ProComp AT's did. It may have been my fault on the AT's though. I did not rotate them often enough in my opinion.

Traction seems excellent... I have not had them in heavy mud but have had them in the deep sand of the Outer Banks... they did great.

I would definately buy them again. In fact if I had the extra cash I would buy a spare set since they are "buy 3 get 1 free"...

i just spent some time last week looking for them. the buy three get one free price is within $10 of other places. so dont sweat the price and timing thing.

i have heard they last a long time too. so who has the best price including shipping? I'll list the places i looked at in a minute. (gotta find them again :D )

national tire and wheel has them for $212. 95 and buy 3 get 1 free

http://www.ntwonline.com/ntw0799/pages/procomptire.html plus shipping of about $90

this was the cheapest per tire $202. 50 and FREE shipping but no 3 for 4 deal http://www.4x4cyberstore.com/website/pct_02.html

can anyone do better than this ? before i buy?

I have just installed pro comps xterrians size 305-70-16... So far so good. Not too much noise for an aggresive tire and work great in snow... The only unknown is wear??? I had on previously, goodyear MTR S and liked them a lot and got good wear... just wanted to try someting different and more agressive. It was these or Mickey Thompsons Baja claw radials which were about the same price, however, couldn't find a nearby supplier... I paid 197. 50 each for the pro comps plus mounting and balancing... At 212. 00 each plus get one free seems like a good deal, even if you have to pAY FOR mounting and balancing.

Again time will tell on wear, and if they don't go at least 30,000 miles, I'll be back to the MTRS.

4wheelparts has a price guarantee, if you find another company with lower prices they will match it. Just show them an add or tell them when your ordering and they will give them to you at the lower price.

you won't get both...

Last time I tried a price match @ 4Wheel Parts they said "no way". They said because of the buy 3 get 1 free that they could not match the per tire price.

I just bought some Pro-Comp X/Ts 305-70-16 off ebay for $550 shipped to my house w/ less than 500 miles. I was expecting them to be a little bigger. I just ordered a leveling kit and rear add a leafs. Do yall think this would look weird? Oh well, maybe I'll get some 35s next spring.
