Looks like we're going to head south for a few days at DL. Most likely 4/3 and 4/4. The two day pass looks like the best deal. Any suggestions from those who have been there? Best place to stay etc. ? I haven't been there for many moons, so not too sure what to expect any more. We'll have a free third day. What else do you suggest going to see? Also, are there any good, safe RV places? Might consider towing if there are. My kids are 12 and 8. Thanks for your input!

We went the week before Christmas. LOTS and LOTS of people. Next time we go back we will pull the kids out of school mid week maybe the crowds would be less. We went the day after Christmass break started :{ :{ .

We stayed in a hotel across the street from the entrance to the park. We got a package deal through AAA. Stayed at Best Western 1544 s Harbor blvd. Anaheim. Close enough to leave the park and then walk back to the park. Parking at the Hotel was tight, glad we drove the Tahoe instead of the 3500 dulley.

Try to get tickets that allow you to go to both parks, park hopper, way less people at the California Adventure park. Also the have a place called downtown Disney, we did not get to see it but next time we will check it out, and do not miss the parade at Disney or the one right after that at California Adventure.

We will go back again in 3 or 4 years, kids are 9 and 4 now they had a good time. REMEMBER IT IS THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH :-laf :-laf

AMink we went at Spring Break and it was HORRIBLE! Well the crowds anyway, the weather was cold and miserable, but we still had a lot of fun. It was worth it! Definitely do the Fast Pass thing when you get there. Those are special tickets distributed for each ride during certain times of the day then you have a time frame a little later in the day you can use it. The Fast Pass lines go quick, and we didn't have too much difficulty getting Fast Passes for most of the rides we wanted and even though it was mega crowded the longest line we stood in was 70 minutes (most approx 15-30 min). We split up a few times during the day and collected Fast Passes then used them as they became available.

We stayed at an Econo Lodge nearby, it wasn't that great but the price was right.

Costco has a good deal on admission. I think it is $119 for four passes to either park. I am not sure if you can go betwween the two parks.

We used to go to DisneyLand as family about every three years or so when I was growing up. We usually stayed in a small motel relatively close to DL, or took a motel/hotel shuttle. Very low budget. My wife and I went a couple years ago, and stayed in the Disneyland Hotel. Quite a difference. 30 years later I loved it because I could get into the park an hour earlier and hit the good rides before the lines formed. For me, that was worth it. My wife thought I was crazy to go so early. But it did cost a lot more. Very convenient, but you pay for it. Maybe now is a good time to find a deal. Check AAA or your bank/credit union, sometimes they have great offers. Hope this helps.

Not really. There was a decent one about an 1/8th mile away but it closed down about a month ago. I wouldn't recommend staying in the others in the area. Wear comfortable shoes and be patient. We went a couple months ago during the middle of the week and it was still a madhouse.
