I have a comp box on the truck for around two years now and a few days ago I installed a set of dd2 injectors. Not long after this install i noticed the truck seems to stumble and shutter when you roll into the throttle heavy. I have checked all of the connections for the box and all seems well there. Yet the problem clears up when you turn the box off. Does anyone have any ideas? I can't stand driveing the truck without the box on so this is makeing me nuts :{ :{ :{

9 - 10 lbs of fuel pressure at WOT. same as before injector install. I will double check the pump wire in the morning but I think its fine.

max boost is around 30-31. with no codes set. This is kind of hard to explain but if you run along in third gear around 1100 to 1200 rpm then roll the throttle on hard the truck seems to miss or stutter untill almost 3000 rpm then it clears up.

It may be a timing issue with injectors. . I have install DD2 in auto trucks never had a problem. . Once i installed DD3 in a HO 2002 6spd truck ower compainted about a jerking at a certain rpm? I hope this helps

are you sure its the clutch shattering?, i dont see any clutch mods, and with the comp box w/o inj. i can make my convertor shutter (mines a auto)if i roll on it hard on low rpms. either that or u have a fuel delivery problem.

I just installed a Comp box on my truck and coupled with the EDM 1. 5's it is pretty hairy. I see the boost swing right past the 35 mark and hang out in between the two black rivets on the bottom of the Auto Meter gauge (40-42psi???) It pulls real hard and does'nt shake/shudder/stutter, but I have'nt had the balls to hold it WOT for very long yet. I want to get my new turbo first. Maybe the injection pump can't provide all the fuel required on your setup. O. k. scratch that you have an ETC truck. How did you connect the pump wire?? I soldered mine. I had heard using the cheesy wire tap has caused problems in the past.

Is it a ratcheting, chattering, shuddering sound and feel? If so, welcome to the wonderful world of clutch slippage! :{ My stock clutch did it when the DD2s went in on top of the EZ. :D
