2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Problem Banks E Brake..HELP

I just finished installing a Banks exhaust brake on a 02', 6 speed, 4x4.

The E brake works flawlessly. The problem is that it set a code and a the check engine light is on. The codes are 1693, P0501.

Has anyone else experienced this problem . I won't be able to call Banks untill wednsday, so any help or advice would be appreciated
