Problem With Girlfriend....What do i do..?

xCx, I married my highschool sweetheart and wouldn't change a thing. Just make sure you know each others priorities before jumping in with both feet. The thing you have going for ya is your young. At that age you have to party and live it up, it's the best time of your life. But on the other hand, you NEED to be getting serious about school and getting a good education. It's so much easier to transition from HS right into college rather than wait a while. It's very tough to go back a few years down the road as life responsibilities start to stack up fast. Read the other thread about "plan B" also, very good advice there.



As far as the girl, if she sees your plans and agrees to stand by you through thick and thin, she might just be the right one. If not, my suggestion is to play the field as much as possible, you can settle down the road.



Wait a minute, how is it an 18 yr old drives a 3rd gen?? I had a $500 car when I was 18. :{

If my dad were wealthy he'd probably have bought me a nice truck too but, since he wasn't, I drove a '69 Comet with a 6cyl and body damage. But I have no regrets and don't begrudge someone else for having a rich pappy. That would be "class envy" wouldn't it?

Yeah, A bunch of my friends have there cars just handed to them and they dont appreciate it. They BEAT on these cars/trucks, and i say why do you do that. There responce is I DONT CARE . Everyone thinks im a freak because my truck is always perfectly spotless and i take good care of it.

You need a gal who appreciates your desire for fine things and attention to detail. Maybe this gal you have is her and she just doesn't know it yet...

And you're right. I took my daughter's Mustang from her and sold it for skipping school with it and mistreating it. You must have started your credit line early. Most guys your age couldn't get credit approval on a new expensive vehicle.

b. g. if your assuming she will cheat on me i know she would never. Its not like it will be her and just another guy going out. Id know if it was... . She is the kind of girl that likes to just chill with a bunch of friends ( we both hang out with the same 2 groups of people, so id know anything werid. And im friends with all of her friends so theyd tell me if she really screwed up. 3 of her closest friends including her twin sister would tell me in a heartbeat) after almost a year i have full trust in her. If she did do something bad to me id be crushed, But id know she just lost the best thing she will ever have.
