problem with lights

hi guys the other day i installed a new trailer light hook up n then i washed it up to make it shine a lil ( the truck tat is) but when i left i noticed i had no blickers or brake or tale lights went thro da fuses n noticed 2 20amp fuses were blown n i replaced them wit 25 cuz tat all i had at da moment, well i got da blinkers n brakes lights back but da blinkers blink like 2 times faster n still have no tale lights nor dash lights i cheak da head lights switch n tat fine anyone got any ideas if a relay or somthin went bad thanxz 4 ur time n help dan

I would check the body ground up by that batter. It is the 10 gauge wire that goes from the ground cable to the sheet metal screw in front of the battery. Also, make sure your dash grounds are cleaned up. There is a fusable link up under the hood that could have also blown. I can't remeber which wire it is. It is located in the big bundle of wires running back by the grid heaterr relays. Make sure your headlight switch is good. The can be a real pain. Hope this helps.
