I guess the old gal sat longer than I thought, but I had to jump start her this morning.
Got it running, no problems, but now the emergency brake light and ABS light are on all the time. I unhooked both batteries at the same time, thinking it would reset the computer, but that didn't help. They are still on. Will it hurt anything to drive it like this? I was going to take her out for a 30 mile highway run to charge the batteries.
I only had the batteries unhooked for about 15 or 20 seconds. Was that long enough?
Any other ideas?
We are going to town in a few weeks and I will get some new batteries. These were installed 10/14 and won't hold a charge if not driven every couple weeks or more.
Thanks,
Steve
