Just wondering has anyone else had problems getting there orders from ETR diesel? I placed an order for several items from them the first of Oct. an it took over 2 weeks before anything arrived then another 10 days before I got anything else an still have items missing. So 2 weeks ago I cancelled rest of order still have not gotten my card credited for the missing items. So after almost 2 months of calls an not getting answers from anyone there an leaving messages with no call backs I ordered the remaining parts from another dealer an got it in 3 days. Was this just one bad experience or have other had problem? I have order from II,Haisleys Machine,DDP,Coastal Diesel,Sun Coast,Valair Clutchs,an many others an this is the worst customer service I have seen.

'Bout a year ago I ordered an HX40 from ETR. I made the mistake of assuming that it was a Holset super HX40. I ended up getting one of HTT's modded HX40's. It looked like a nice piece so I called Geoff and worked out a deal to keep it. (supers were on heavy backorder at the time) He really put forth a great effort to make me happy and the HTT turned out to be a great turbo.

I ordered exhaust from them, Geoff seems to be a good guy, a friend of mine ordered a bunch of stuff for his 6. 0 and had some stuff missing, Geoff got it taken care of right away.

They sell ALOT on ebay... maybe there getting to big to fast and forgetting the most important thing, customer service.....

I had spent around $1,500 in the past with him and needed a new air filter BAD. He swore to me he had it in his hand and would get it to me before the dyno event that weekend. 2 weeks later I got it from AFE.

In the 2 weeks I called trying to find out what the deal was and it was lies covering previous lies.

I'll never do business with Geoff again.

You hit the nail on the head thats exactly what happened to me after waiting an waiting an getting empty promises an lies I got it directly from the company who apologized for the service I got from his dealer. As for there prices they are good an Geoffe is a nice guy when you can get him on phone if he would just follow threw with what he says. But I'll pay a little more for great customer service an getting my parts in a week not months anyday.

When I first started bombing my truck, I got a lot from him... AFE Stage 2, 5" Magnaflow exhaust, TST CR-49, boost fooler, etc, etc... a couple thousand dollars. Since he is only about 15 miles from where I work, I always drove to his shop to pick things up. Geoff seems like a really nice guy, but as was said before, maybe things are growing a little faster than he can keep up with. From looking on ebay, etc, you'd think it's a great big company; however, the whole operation is about 900 square feet, and he deals a lot more parts than just dodge and cummins. Needless to say, there's not a lot of room for him to stock parts, and I think a lot of his stuff is order-from-the-supplier-as-needed, and thus the sometimes longer turn around. He's probably trying to keep up with a greatly increasing demand with little available resources... although that's no excuse for being dishonest.

As far as advice on what to go with for performance upgrades, I've found he doesn't necessarily ere on the side of caution... better to check around this forum and know what you're wanting first, and what the possible side effects are!

I am responding to this thread primarily to let our customers know that we do care. We know there are tons of guys selling these parts now and the bottom line is customer service is what makes the difference. Secondly some inaccurate information has been posted. ETR has two buildings in Lenoir City Tennessee. The Broadway address is 3400 sq ft and to handle the growth we opened the much larger Hwy 321 location. In regard to stocking inventory, we are factory direct with several companies and we have most turbos, injectors, pumps and other specialty items on hand also. We offer parts sales, service and installation. We are certainly capable of making mistakes, however we would never purposely decieve someone. In an effort to assist our customers with tech support or any other issues we have increased our hours of operation and we have service available seven days a week. We also offer turn key packages in several power ranges. This way the customer has a reliable, safe high horsepower combination with the proper fuel system and driveline components. In closing we are very concerned with customer feedback. This is where our Ebay stores feedback rating (ETR Diesel Performance -geoff4723 99. 7%) comes in handy. If a customer has an issue whatever it may be please make us aware of it and it will be addressed.

Sincerely,

Geoff Eisenstadt-Owner ETR Diesel Performance

Geoff,

Nice to have you here. My problem was with you telling me you had the Pro-Gaurd 7 air filter "in your hand, ready to ship". You promised me I would get in on a Thursday. It is 2 day service for UPS from TN to MO.

2 weeks later I FINALLY got it from AFE.

I asked for my money back several different times and all you would say is it is already on the way. (Which was a lie) If it was on its way, it wouldn't have took 2 weeks for UPS to get it here.

I asked you everyday I called for a tracking number. I never got one. Now I know why. :-laf

After talking to a few guys, I'm not the only one who have been hit with this problem. If you don't have something "in your hand ready to ship" and its coming from the manufacturer, you NEED to be up front and let the buyer know. In my case, I would've passed and bought it from someone who would have came through and got the product to me. Then we wouldn't have had this mess. . :-laf

Hey Geoff, good to see you posting on here! Sorry if I was misleading about anything I said earlier... it's been awhile since I've been out to your shop, and you must have expanded quite a bit! Welcome to TDR... --Eric

Geoff,

If you have two large shops and stock many products why does it take so long to get common items? I can understand it taking longer on special order or backordered item but when you say you have a part in stock an it takes up to a month to get it or not getting it at all with no return phone calls thats what I have a problem with.

Jokerzwild and Luken,

This is not the place to discuss your business dealings with ETR. If you have a problem, you should contact Geoff and straighten it out. But not on the forums.

I hope I am making this very clear to everyone.

Sorry Parks!

I tried the phone deal and it didn't work so I thought I would give it another shot...

I read ya loud and clear!

Sorry, Lucas

Sorry Parks!

Like Lucas I made numerous calls over the past month trying to get this resolved but completely understand the forums for performance. Just for an update I recieved a fax showing my card was credited today so far as im concerned the issue is dropped.

This is a "forum" but apparently we cannot discuss negative experiences with performance equipment here, or businesses with which we are unhappy! Only positive and happy stuff is allowed!!
I love being censored, THANKS TDR!

Bekim. Posting negative experiences with equipment and or a business is fine - it's done all the time. Hashing out a problem with a vendor or excessively bashing a vendor or product is not. Where things crossed the line here was putting what should be a private conversation with the vendor on here. We always allow in the case of a problem between a vendor and an individual for each side to post their version of the story and then take it off line from there because further hashing it out in public doesn't do anyone any good.
