Are there any problems with towing a 5th wheel with a short bed? I am thinking about adding a 5th wheel hitch to my short bed truck.

Get a slider hitch and a camper with an extended pin box and you will be set. As long as I am on level ground I have been able to jack knife my camper with out hitting the cab and not sliding the hitch back. Mind you it is very close though.

Good advice from Mlockner. Only maneuvering trouble with a short box is it is easier to jack knife... denting your cab and blasting the rear window... friend did that... not me.
