Well the fold flat floor needs to come out. Im getting some kind of system back there either that or im just taking everything out of the back seat for my diet :)

I have taken them out temporarily for a rhino lining to be sprayed on them. I think it is just a 17 or 19 mm head bolt and a 13 mm bolt on a tie bar on each side of the two halves ( 4 sets ). The gas pop up cylinders will complicate it a little- plate will come up on you. The seats will come out by removing the last set of big bolts in the back( I think ). The large bolts are "deformed" or loctited so the will not spin out freely. If the removal is permanent you can find many people who did not get that option who would want it.

If you want to remove the seat back, temporarily, do you have to take out the flat floor first? Or will it come out by itself?

Yes the fold flat floor bolts through the seat mounting brackets. May be able to re-install after the seat is out though. The small bolts and the spacer bars might not go back in, and the fold up floor brackets may not sit right on the carpet without the seat brackets.

How much does the fold flat weigh? and does anyone know how much the 60/40 bench seats weigh... to took 170 lbs out of my truck and i feel a difference i have a feeling something might get tubbed out soon :)

Stopping By

Nick,

I was down in Elk Grove 2 weeks ago, after I spoke to you, but your shop was closed for a week.

I will be back down again in a few weeks. Do you drive your truck to work?

Chicago

Nick,

I need to be down there in either 2 or 3 weeks. Need to see what the work load here is, then I can plan it.

I will bring some prints for your foreman.

That would be interesting. I'm not sure I've ever seen a tubbed out 4x4. Do you mean tubbing out like in a hot-rod? Narrow rear end and all?

Nifty.
