I need new shocks. Rancho's are not currently on sale. Has anyone tried the adjustable MX-6 shocks from Procomp? I'll likely order them tomorrow. I've called around to some of the local parts places. They don't even keep shocks in stock for Dodge P/U's with 8800 lb gross or more.

I've been looking at the Procomp MX6 also, as they have the adjustability of the RS9000, and it seems as though they are built a bit better with mono-tube construction and billet aluminum bolt eyelets rather than steel.

The other benefit, they have a promo right now - buy 3 get one free, and at $89 per shock, that seems like a nice deal.

Here's the problem, the only people that I have spoken to with experience using the shocks are the guys at 4wheelparts, and they love them, but they are also the sole distributor, so some sales pitch may be expected.

I'm still looking into Bilstein before I buy.

I recently e-mailed ProComp about their new shocks. They replied with "I'm sorry but at this time we have no fitment for Dodge trucks and have no plans on developing one. "

That makes me

Bummer, I just called 4wheelparts and confirmed that Procomp will not have the MX6 shocks for our trucks for months if not a year, so it's Bilsteins or Rancho I guess.

Darn! And these were on my short list of shocks that I was interested in replacing my Edelbrock IAS shocks with (when I install my new OE snow plow PLUS! front coil springs). :D

I guess I'll go with the Bilstein gas shocks! I've had them before and they have always been awesome peformers!
