Camping, dogs and kids...

So I've made up my mind on a Prodigy. www.RVWHolesalers.com has V2. 4 for $99. 99 plus another $11. 25 for the wiring harness. Does the unit include the mounting bracket?

Is that a reasonable price before I give them a call?

That is a fair price but I got mine at the same time as SKargo for about the same price.

Why did you need the harness? There is a harness that comes with the truck and one that comes with the controller. The controller includes the butt connectors so all you have to do is crimp them together.

They come with 2 mounting brackets. I just installed 1 a couple of weeks ago and used the slide-in mount. I also bought the harness, real nice to just plug it in and not do any wiring. It also comes with a carrying bag. Guess that is so someone can't steal it.

Or when the DO steal it they have a nice bag to carry it in!

Thanks guys.

That reminds me, I forgot mine even came with a case..... I installed mine back when the prodigy's came out and never saw the case again...

If I had it to do over I would bite the bullet and buy it from someone local for a little more money (in case of defects, etc). I bought one from Amazon.com and it didn't work, sent it back to where it came from (RV Wholesalers) and they kept it for over a year then denied that they had sold it to me, finally did send it back to me but I guess I'm stuck with a controller that don't work. bg
