BOMBS Away! EZ installed....

Whatya know about TST?

I'm planning on getting a PE4200 pump installed. I'd just like to know who's running one of these series pumps and you're experiences with them. Also does PE warranty these pumps. I'm going to call and as them and a distributor but I'd just like to know your experiences.

Oo.

and yes I know about the search function.

Great pump, the manufacturer stands behind them for 2 years. It is also the only pump designed for continous use.

Do a search for either the PE4100 or PE4200. There are some good past threads on the pumps.

I was running a PE4100 and changed to a PE4200. I changed because I wanted to see how the PE4100 was holding up to the diesel fuel. The PE4200 runs about 22 psi on the highway.

Love the pump.

Good luck

I too am on the PE4200 bandwagon. Great Pump! ;)

I also run about 20-22 psi and It never dipos below 18 psi at WOT. Oo.

Good pump, Andy at ADT will hook you up!

The 4200 is a great pump, and extremely quiet.

25 PSI at idle, 15 PSI when I lay into it.

Advanced Diesel Technologies did all my work, give them a call.

I loved the 4100, right up until the day it died, less than one year of service. PE stood right by their warranty word, overnighted me a new Purple 4200 which I promptly installed. The new 4200 is quite a different animal, compared to the 4100. The FP is very 'active', especially when the fuel is cold ( outside ambient below 10F). At the cold temps. , I see around 15 psi's at initial start up/idle. After about 45 minutes of driving, the FP settles down and stays around 20-26 psi's. Now that it finally starting to warm up here, with morning lows in the teens and lower 20's, I see around 18 psi's at start up after sitting for 8 plus hours, the FP ramps up to 25-26 psi's after only a short trip.

PE does seem committed to our cause. When they overnighted the pump they requested that the charge be placed on my card, which they promptly removed when they received the failed 4100. That, coupled with the fact that the pump is purple :p :D , is enough for me to keep running them for now. Hopefully, the newly devised internal bypass in the 4200 series will last, time will tell.

There has been one failure that I know of with the 4200 pump. His was a first generation 4200 and I'll PM the owner to see if he wants to jump in with the details. All I know is that it didn't last long at all.
