The TDRoundtable has got to be the best way to gain knowledge about our trucks. How did you find the TDR? My story.

I pulled into the corner gas station & noticed a different looking rear differential cover on a white 3500 4X4. The un-knowledged joe 6-pack only knows chrome diff covers. I also noticed a big hump in the dash cover, covering up guages. I cornered the owner, who turns out to be a fellow TDR'er, Gary, who turned me onto the TDR magazine. Gary had one in the truck. The rest is money sink history & big #ad

I found TDR through a story in one of the 4X4 magazines- don't remember which one. That was back around Issue 16. Glad I found TDR!

A good friend that I had graduated high school with (almost 50 years ago) showed me a copy of (then new) issue 12, and instantly knew that I needed the info that was available in The TDR. I just received issue 27 and it is still my favorite read. Thanks, Roger!!

I found out about TDR via the old CDW "roundtable" (Cummins Diesel Website) around June '99. I was bored one day and, out of the blue, decided to see if I could find info about "hoppin' up" a Cummins. I always thought it would be cool to own a Cummins powered Ram and "hop up" the engine, but assumed it would be very expensive, parts would be limited, and going above 300hp would only be possible with serious internal mods. Boy, was I in for an EYE OPENER!!!! I was blown away when I discovered the power potential of the Cummins with simple bolt-ons and plug-ins!!!!

It wasn't long before I was hooked on CDW, and became determined to get a Dodge Cummins. The rest is history as I'm on my 2nd rig, and lovin' Cummins power to death!!!

I believe it was an ad in trailer life a few years ago. It has just taken a little while to find the big brut i was looking for.

------------------

Local Dodge dealer, I was checking out the new trucks in "94", getting ready to order the new 1 ton club cab and found issue 3 of the TDR in a brochure rack, looked to me like a freebe, the first issue of my subscription was number 10. I have since been on somewhat of a crusade to convert other Dodge Cummins owners to the TDR.

I sometimes wonder, am I the only one that feels compelled to show all that don't already know the things to watch for on the fuel return line, and fuel solenoid shut off relay (and how to manually actuate the solenoid) that can make starting difficult or impossible, also the Radio Shack $5. 99 relay to replace the DC $35 fuel solenoid relay.

My wife thinks this is unacceptable behavior. But the TDR saved me a considerable amount of money with these timely issues and I guess I'm just a sharing kind of guy.

I saw an add. in Trailer Life mag. on the Mag-Hytec diff. cover, called number and talked with Roy. He told me about tdr and sent literature with my diff. cover. Roy being a fellow native Kansan, and the great product he puts out, I knew he would not lead me wrong!!!

I heard/read about it for the first time in May of '96. I was buying my '96 Ram gasser, and the dealer gave me a flier that mationed the TDR. I thought "Gee that's nice, but I'm not buying a diesel". Then during my '96 Ram ownership,I got something in the mail that showed pictures and an article of a TDR event. I liked what I saw,but thought "Too bad you have to own a Cummins Ram to participate"... little did I know.
By the end of '97 I was hooked by the rattle and power claims of the mighty Cummins, and found myself talking to any diesel owner I could find. In June '98 I sold my V-8 Ram to save money for a diesel and kept an eye for a good used 5spd model. I stumbled across the CDW in Jan of '99,and ordered a rig in Feb of '99. Sorry to say though,I didn't start my TDR subscription til Aug '99.

I was givena a card from a dealer service manager when I was looking at first at the big beasts and also saw it in the Dodge Brochure but was one of those who thought boy I wish I could join but I don't have one then just decided what the hell. Best money I ever spent.

My dad got his '96 after he saw mine. His came from Dave Smith in Kellogg ID along with the TDR info which we subscribed to right away... Got all back issues too!

I received a brochure in the mail about the TDR shortly after buying my truck in '95. Robert had some sort of mass mailing deal then. My first issue was #11 and I had a letter published in #13. All but the latest are cataloged in my library ready for instant reference. My wife knows not to bother me when I get a new issue.

TDR came to me. My question is how did they or who ever know I was a diesel owner? A year later I subscribed. Plan on staying aboard for as long as I drive diesel.
